Pursue Excellence · The podcast from px
Not what you won. What you decided.
Hosted by Cameron Usher. One conversation about the decision behind your pursuit, filmed in our studio in the Gold Coast hinterland.

The show
One decision, and the reason behind it.
Your episode is built on one question about a decision you made, and that question becomes its title. We talk about what you chose and why, not what you won.
We find it with you before the day: the decision you have not already talked through in every other interview.
You and Cameron in two chairs, in our studio in the Gold Coast hinterland. Nothing is scripted, and the conversation sets the length.
Every episode ends on the same one: what are you pursuing? Every guest's answer becomes part of a series of its own.
People in the middle of their own pursuit.
Founders running a business at a standard their health has never matched. People coming back after an injury, a birth or a burnout. People training for something with a date. They come for the decision and take it into their own week.
Wherever your audience watches and listens.
Full episodes on YouTube, the audio on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, and a page for every episode on pxmembership.com with the full transcript. Every episode is also cut into short films for px and for you.

A pursuit, filmed as it happens.
Alongside the episodes, our documentaries follow a pursuit while it is still under way. They are filmed where it happens and told in the guest's own words, with Cameron off camera.
What it asks of you
A short call, then one conversation.
That is the whole of your time. We handle everything else, and we work around your schedule and your season.
- Reply to CameronSay yes, ask a question, or put us in touch with your manager. One email is enough.
- A call with CameronTo find the decision worth a whole conversation, and the question that becomes your title.
- Your day in the studioWe set it with you, and send everything you need to know before it, personally.
- Your releaseYour episode goes out wherever your audience listens, and we share it together on the day.
Your conversation, cut for your channels.
The full episode and the short films cut from it are yours to share. Your episode gets its own page on pxmembership.com with the full transcript, and our team plans the release with yours.
For a few, the start of something longer.
Season one also brings together a small founding group, invited to help shape px from the outset with a genuine stake in the business. If that is why Cameron wrote to you, he will talk it through with you directly.
There is no appearance fee either way. Nobody pays to come on, and nobody is paid for an episode.
The studio
Two chairs and one conversation.
Our studio is in the Gold Coast hinterland: acoustic walls, warm light and two chairs facing each other. It is built for one conversation at a time.

Who we ask
Every guest's story stands for one of five things.
They are px's values. They decide who we hire, who we work with and who sits in the chair across from Cameron.
- The pursuit is the standard
Not the peak, the way of moving. Excellence is daily and quiet, not a destination.
- Less, but better
Restraint is the discipline. Volume is the lie.
- Excellence is universal
Not gated by income, talent or where you live.
- Role models, not influencers
Substance over performance, receipts over reach.
- We choose harder
Not because hard is virtuous, but because hard is what produces who you actually want to become.
Made by px
The company behind the show.
px is the one coach that turns everything that shapes your day into one plan for today, across training, mind and food, built around what you are pursuing. The show comes from the same place: the decisions behind a pursuit, told by the people making them.
Who you will work with
Three people, from your first email to your release.
An exited founder: he built The Realm with no outside capital, then sold it. Twelve years in elite swimming. He hosts every episode and makes every invitation himself.
Eighteen years running phyd creative, his Gold Coast film and animation studio, making TV commercials, cinema ads and launch films. He produces the show and directs the documentaries.
Eight years at Red Bull, from global launch campaigns at its Austrian headquarters to leading its advertising in Spain. She runs our media, and everything around your release.

Say yes, ask anything, or pass this to your manager. It reaches Cameron and the team at guests@pxmembership.com, and we come back to you personally. If he has not written to you yet and you think your story belongs on the show, write anyway.
