Getting started

Account setup, first sessions, the basics.

Three steps to your first day with px

  1. Download and sign in. px is on the App Store and Google Play.
  2. Start your free trial. Seven days, no commitment. After the trial, choose monthly at $29.99 a month or annual at $199 a year, or the equivalent in your local currency.
  3. Build your baseline. Complete your profile so px knows who it is coaching. Grant Apple Health or Google Health Connect permission to sync steps, heart rate, workouts, sleep and nutrition automatically. You can use px without a wearable; it will coach from what you log yourself.

What does px actually do?

px is one coach across Move, Mind and Fuel. Every morning it sets your Direction for the day and tells you why.

Is px a medical service?

No. px is not a medical, diagnostic or emergency service. It gives you guidance and structure, but it does not diagnose, treat or replace clinical care. If you have a medical concern, see a clinician. If you or someone you know is in crisis, see the Crisis support section.

Ask px

What it does, what it sees, and what it does not.

What is Ask px?

Ask px is the coach inside px, by text or voice. It knows your training, sleep, food and goals, so it can build a session, answer a question, log a meal or change the plan you are following. When a question needs a person, it hands you to one.

What data does Ask px receive?

When you chat with Ask px, your message is sent to the AI provider behind px to generate a response. Ask px receives:

  • Your message
  • A summary of your profile (relevant context only)
  • A summary of your recent data: workouts, sleep, mood logs and goals

Ask px does not receive your name, email, address, or any other directly identifying information beyond what you choose to share in a message.

What does Ask px not receive?

  • Your phone number, home address, or payment information
  • Photos or documents you have not shared with it
  • Your raw HealthKit or Health Connect data, only the summaries px makes from it
  • Any data from any other px member

Is my conversation used to train AI models?

No. Our AI providers work under commercial agreements that prohibit training on your conversations. They keep conversations only for a limited time for abuse and safety monitoring, then delete them. Within px, conversations are stored against your account and deleted when you delete your account or clear your chat history. The providers we use are listed on our Sub-processors page.

See the sub-processors

Can Ask px be wrong?

Yes. AI models can give answers that sound certain but contain errors, sometimes called hallucination. Do not rely on Ask px as your only source for high-stakes decisions about your health. Use it to think and plan with, and use your judgement.

What should I not share with Ask px?

To keep yourself safe, please do not share:

  • Financial information: account numbers, card numbers, social security or tax IDs
  • Login passwords or authentication codes
  • Confidential business or third-party information you do not have the right to share
  • Other people's health information without their consent

How do I make Ask px better?

Tap thumbs-down on any answer that misses the mark. It is the most direct way to make Ask px better, for you and for every other member.

Membership and billing

Subscriptions, pricing, refunds and organisations.

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel any time. Access continues until the end of your paid period. In the app, go to Settings › Membership › Cancel subscription. px asks why, then takes you to where you subscribed — the App Store, Google Play or our website — to finish. You can also cancel there directly:

  • iOS: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › px › Cancel
  • Android: Play Store app › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › px › Cancel
  • Joined on our website: pxmembership.com/account › Manage billing › Cancel

How do I get a refund?

px has a no-refund policy outside specific circumstances: duplicate charges, fraud, a technical failure that prevents access, or where your local consumer law requires one. Refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google go through their stores; px cannot refund those directly.

If you joined on our website, we refund your first payment in full, for any reason, if you ask within 14 days of it. Email support@pxmembership.com from the address on your px account.

Why is pricing different in my country?

Pricing is shown and charged in your local currency, based on your App Store or Google Play settings, or on where you are when you join on our website. Local amounts vary with platform fees, taxes and exchange rates. There is one global price, converted locally, not a separate price for each region.

Plans for organisations

px for Organisations gives everyone you choose their own coach, as seats invoiced once a year. Tell us about your team through the form on the Organisations page, or email corporate@pxmembership.com.

Free trials and re-trials

A free trial is available once per member, per platform. If you have used your trial and cancel, subscribing again skips the trial.

Can I join on the web?

Yes. You can join in the app through the App Store or Google Play, or on our website at pxmembership.com/account/join. It is the same membership: create your px account or sign in, choose monthly or annual, and pay. Then sign in to the app with the same email, and everything is unlocked.

Health data and wearables

Apple Health, Google Health Connect, Garmin, Oura, WHOOP and more.

What HealthKit data does px read?

When you grant permission on iOS, px reads:

  • Steps (daily activity counts)
  • Heart rate (resting, active, and HRV where available)
  • Workouts (type, duration, intensity)
  • Sleep (in-bed time, asleep time, stages)
  • Nutrition (calories and macronutrients where logged)

px does not use HealthKit data for advertising and does not sell health data to third parties.

What Health Connect data does px read?

On Android, through Google Health Connect, px reads the same categories (steps, heart rate, workouts, sleep and nutrition) where Google makes them available.

Other wearables: Garmin, Oura, WHOOP and more

px connects to 22 apps and devices, including Garmin, Oura, WHOOP, Fitbit and Polar. Connect any of them under Settings › Health & devices › Manage devices in the px app. Data is read as often as your device allows, and px only asks for what it needs to coach you.

Calendar data: read, never sent

Where px uses your calendar to place sessions, calendar data is read on your device only. It is never sent to Ask px, to our AI providers or to any px server.

Where is my data stored?

Data is hosted on Supabase infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. See our Privacy Policy for the full description of where data lives and which sub-processors we use.

How we measure

How px works out your score, your streaks and what Ask px knows.

How we compute your daily score

px uses your recent training load, sleep quality, HRV (where available) and how you say you feel to work out a single daily score. We do not sell this score, and the method is set out here so you know what you are seeing.

How we compute streaks

A streak counts consecutive days where you complete at least one action px has set for you. Streaks reset at local midnight in your time zone.

How Ask px personalises

Ask px uses your last 14 days of activity, mood and goal data, plus your profile baseline, to tailor its answers. Older data is summarised, not erased: it shapes the longer picture but does not drive day-to-day suggestions.

How we handle missing data

When a wearable does not sync or you miss a log, px does not guess. It uses what it has, tells you which inputs are missing, and asks you for the rest.
