Before you delete

Take a minute on these four

Cancel any active subscription

PX cannot refund subscriptions billed by Apple or Google — cancel via the store you joined through (App Store, Play Store, or, for web, your Stripe billing page). Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.

Download a copy of your data

You have a right to a portable copy of everything PX holds about you. Request it in the app — Settings › Account › Export My Data — or email support@pxmembership.com. Exports are sent within one month.

Save what you want to keep

Photos, notes, and anything you have uploaded will not be recoverable after deletion. Download anything you would want to keep.

Decide what to delete

You can delete the entire account, or only specific items inside the app. The routes below cover both.

Route 1

Delete specific items inside the app

You can remove individual items at any time without deleting your account. Tap the (…) icon on any item.

Items you can delete

  • Posts and comments
  • Lock-in sessions
  • Workout, nutrition, hydration, sleep, and body-measurement logs
  • Photos and documents
  • Coach conversations — individual conversations or your full history
  • Connected wearable data within a date range

Deleting an item removes it from PX active systems immediately and from back-end storage within 30 days.

Route 2 · Apple-required

Delete your account from inside the app

  1. 1Open PX and sign in.
  2. 2Go to Settings › Account › Delete Account.
  3. 3Read what will be deleted and what will be retained (linked from the in-app screen).
  4. 4Type DELETE in the confirmation field to enable the button.
  5. 5Tap Delete Account. We send a confirmation email immediately.
  6. 6Click the link in that email within seven days to complete the deletion.
  7. 7We send a second email when deletion is complete — within 30 days of your confirmation.

Changed your mind? You can cancel a pending deletion any time within the seven-day window by contacting support@pxmembership.com. After seven days, deletion is permanent.

Full account deletion

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we remove the following.

Profile and account

  • Name, email, profile photo, username, date of birth, gender
  • Password hash and sign-in tokens
  • Push-notification tokens and device IDs

Coach conversations

  • All PX Coach conversations and the data associated with them
  • AI-generated insights and summaries linked to your account

Logs and tracked data

  • Workout, nutrition, hydration, sleep, and body-measurement logs
  • HealthKit / Health Connect data stored in PX (raw and derived)
  • Wearable data imported from connected devices

Community content

  • Posts and comments you authored
  • Direct messages on your side (recipients' copies follow their own deletion choices)
  • Uploaded photos and documents

Settings and preferences

  • App preferences, notification settings, language preferences
  • Connected device integrations and tokens
  • The subscription link to your account

What is retained, why, and for how long

A short window of data is retained for the specific, lawful reasons below. These periods match our Privacy Policy — it is the single source of truth.

Sub-processors

Where deletion travels

When you delete your account, PX forwards the deletion request to the following sub-processors.

Anthropic

PX Coach AI provider

PX uses Anthropic under a commercial agreement that prohibits training on your conversations. Anthropic retains conversations for up to 30 days for abuse and safety monitoring, then deletes them. Your PX deletion request triggers Anthropic-side deletion of any retained conversation data linked to your account.

Google Cloud

Infrastructure

Stored data is purged from PX active systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.

Stripe

Subscription billing (web)

Transaction records are retained for up to 7 years per UK HMRC and EU VAT requirements. Personal data outside those transaction records is deleted.

Apple / Google Play

Subscription billing (in-app)

PX does not control records held by Apple or Google for subscriptions processed through the App Store or Play Store. You must cancel those subscriptions via the respective store. PX deletes its internal link to your subscription.

Terra

Wearable data integration

PX revokes its access tokens to your connected wearables immediately. Data already imported into PX is deleted under this request. Data still held by the wearable provider — Oura, WHOOP, Garmin and others — follows their own deletion process.

Honest disclosure

Your AI conversations

PX Coach conversations stored in PX are deleted as part of your account deletion. Anthropic also deletes its retained copy in line with our commercial agreement.

PX and Anthropic do not train AI models on your conversations. However — and this matters for every AI service operating today — AI model training takes place in batches at points in time. If a model has already been trained before your deletion request using earlier de-identified data, that model cannot be retroactively re-trained without your data.

From the moment you delete, none of your data is used in any future training run.

Identity

How we verify it’s you

We verify your identity before deleting anything — to protect you from someone else deleting your account.

You are already signed in. We confirm by asking you to re-enter your password (or re-authenticate via Sign in with Apple / Google), then we ask you to type DELETE before the confirmation button is enabled.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR, California CPRA, and the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Receive a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format (portability)
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and personal data — the right this page implements
  • Object to or restrict our processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority
